Common questions

What It Costs to Get It Sorted

How does your upfront fixed pricing work?

We inspect the problem on site first, then give you a fixed price in writing before any work starts. There's no hourly rate ticking over and nothing added afterward that wasn't in that number.

Does the price change once you start?

Not for the job we quoted. If something bigger turns up once we're into it, like a hidden second fault, we stop and requote before going further, and you decide from there.

What does the $65 off your first service cover?

It's $65 off any first booking with us, applied on top of the number we've already settled on. There's no fine print attached, and it works the same across every service we offer.

Is the quote really free?

Yes, free quotes and no call-out fee, whether you go ahead with the work or not. Getting a plumber to look and price the job costs you nothing upfront.

Common questions

Licensed, Insured and Done Properly

Can I fix a plumbing emergency myself?

Simple things like turning off the water at the meter are fine. Gas work, sewer connections and anything inside a hot water system are legally restricted to a licensed tradesperson in this state, for safety as much as compliance.

Can you check my licence number?

Yes, it's NSW Plumbing Licence #465156C and you can look it up yourself on the NSW licence register. We're happy for anyone to check before we start.

What is your lifetime labour warranty?

Every job we complete is backed by a lifetime labour warranty. If our workmanship fails down the track, we come back and fix it properly at no extra cost.

Are your plumbers qualified to work on gas?

Yes, we carry licensed gas fitters as well as plumbers, so a suspected gas leak or a gas hot water fault gets handled by someone qualified for that specific work, not a general handyman.

Common questions

Response, Timing and Booking

Are you really available 24/7?

Yes, a real person answers the phone day or night, not a machine or an overseas call centre. Say so if it genuinely can't wait, and it jumps straight to the front of the queue.

What happens after I call?

We talk through what's happened, help you decide if it can wait or not, and get a plumber on the way if it can't. On site, we assess properly and quote fixed before touching anything.

How fast can you get here?

Usually the same day, since we're already working across this part of Fairfield most weeks rather than driving in from somewhere else. Call and we'll be upfront about what's realistic today.

What counts as a plumbing emergency?

A gas leak, water spreading from a burst or split pipe, a toilet that's overflowing, a sewer line backing up, or hot water that's cut out entirely: each of those is genuinely urgent. If in doubt, call and we'll help you work it out.

Common questions

Local Answers for Bonnyrigg

Why do Bonnyrigg's older homes get plumbing emergencies?

A good share of the housing here dates to the original 1960s estate, and hot water units and clay drainage from that era are well past the point where failures come without warning. Newer Newleaf-era homes carry a different, younger set of fittings again.

What suburbs do you service around Bonnyrigg?

Edensor Park, Canley Heights, St Johns Park, Wakeley and Abbotsbury, all as part of the same regular run through this side of Fairfield.

How local are you, really?

This part of Fairfield is where we're already working most weeks, not a suburb we occasionally drive out to. That familiarity is why we can usually get to a job the same day.

Do you cover the suburbs next to Bonnyrigg?

Yes, our five neighbouring suburbs are all part of the same coverage area, with no extra charge for being on one side of a boundary rather than the other.
